Providing a Dedicated Site Supervisor On EVERY Job: Every job is assigned to a dedicated job supervisor whose sole responsibility is to make sure your project proceeds as desired and expected. Castro Roofing job supervisors have an average of 15 years experience in roofing projects. They are totally familiar with the requirements of federal projects. Each work crew has a foreman who reports to the job-site supervisor. Castro’s professional foremen and workers are trained and certified to manufacturer’s specifications and standards on specialized materials, equipment and installation procedures. A major task of a job supervisor is to provide continual face-to-face and written progress reports to the Project Facility Manager so the job stays on track. Having the Proper Equipment: One of the major causes of delays in completing a job is not having the proper equipment or having the proper equipment on hand when it’s needed. Castro clients will
never have their job shut down due to not having the proper equipment, on hand, to do the job. In fact, Castro owns and maintains
all of its specialized equipment so your project will NEVER be delayed waiting on a piece of equipment to be delivered by a rental company. In addition to the usual equipment found with any roofing company, Castro also has:
- Trucks powered by propane (for cleaner air) which are less than 2 years old;
- A 40 ton crane so materiel and equipment gets to where it’s needed;
- A dump truck with scissor lift center section;
- Computerized sheet metal break because every project requires custom-formed sheet metal;
- A panel machine to custom cut sheet metal
right on your job site;
- An automatic sheer, tear-off machine so projects are not behind schedule as soon as they start;
- Fume recovery filtering system so the environment and building occupants are protected;
- High volume gravel vacuum system to eliminate air pollution;

Being Environmentally Aware: Keeping the environment safe is a big concern to Castro Roofing – that’s why they address environmental safety issues during personnel training on specialized equipment used for specific events, such as water runoff, fume recovery, and spills. Castro field crew are also briefed on each job regarding the environmental issues surrounding a particular job at that particular site. Having On-going Employee and Safety Training: Castro field crews and staff are trained in the proper installation of all materials. They have also adopted and received federal approval on their detailed safety manual. Receiving federal approval of this Safety Manual has resulted in streamlining the contract and job progress. The safety standards of the National Roofing Contractor’s Association, the Corps of Engineers manual, and OSHA 1926 have also been integrated into the Castro Safety Manual.
